Meet the 2024 season staff!

Facility CO-Manager

Cathy Barker,
Helena, MT

Cathy is “made of the clay” of Mimanagish, as she was born in Big Timber and attended first as a baby. From 1966-1979 she never missed a summer, as camper, counselor or director. With a religion degree from Rocky Mountain College and a Master of Divinity from Yale University Divinity School, she was ordained in the United Church of Christ. She served churches in Oregon, Michigan, Minnesota, Seattle, and Helena, MT before retiring gratefully. She has participated in 5 UCC conferences and 12 church camps in those years, and none have measured up to Mimanagish! She has led spiritual Circles of Trust in Helena and at Camp since 2013.

Areas of expertise: Vision for the future attuned to the Spirit, an inquisitive mind, compassionate heart, and grateful soul. She can lead Camp Songs too!
