 As adolescent development varies widely, the 9th Grade option is available in both youth camps to choose the most comfortable fit for the camper.

Mimanagish summer Youth Camps offer a transformative opportunity to build lifelong friendships in an inclusive, supportive environment away from the pressures of today’s connected world. Themes of Creative Arts, Earth Stewardship, and Self-Development will be layered throughout classic camp activities to provide experiences that are restoratively rewarding, resiliency-building, and most importantly – ridiculously fun.

Note: While sleepaway camp is an opportunity to gain healthy life skills, it is not a therapy experience. Campers need to be stable emotionally and mentally to attend. A lifelong advocate of Camp Mimanagish, Darin was a camper, a counselor, and a frequent visitor during multiple milestone life events. Over the past two years, he has returned to offer his guidance as a counselor, provide leadership support, and share his unique experience working with neurodivergent children. This year, he is returning to fulfill a lifelong dream of leading the Youth Camps and is very much looking forward to helping others create their own Mimanagish story while continuing to discover his.
