Grade Camp 3, 4, 5
Sunday, July 21 thru Saturday, July 27
This is camp is a full week long for youth entering grades 3, 4 and 5. Join us as we explore this Sacred Wilderness, develop and strengthen friendships and grow our faith. We will keep our eyes open for everyday miracles as we hike and pray, walk the labyrinth and gather around the campfire, study our Sacred Stories and splash in the Little Hudson. Get ready to create, unplug and refresh!
I started going to church camp in the 6th grade at Bradley Epworth Camp in Illinois. Since then, I have attended church camps in Bloomington, IL and provided leadership at camps in Oregon, IL, in the White Mountains and the lakes region of New Hampshire, and in the woods of Oklahoma. Since moving to Montana I have loved being part of Camp Mimanagish.
Ordained in 1981, Roger Lynn has been a pastor for more than 37 years. He has served churches in Arkansas, Washington, Idaho, Oregon, and Montana – currently serving as Pastor at Plymouth Congregational Church in Helena. And in all of those places he has spent time at church camp – as counselor, director, song leader, and chaplain. He has three daughters, two grandsons, several step-daughters, and three step-grandchildren. Hobbies and interests include photography, hiking, being outside, playing his Native American-style flute, and participating in the Dances of Universal Peace. Roger brings a deep spirituality and a warm heart to his work at church camp.
